New Banana Bread Recipe

This easy Banana Bread recipe always comes out perfect!

You can make a banana bread recipe with the handful of ingredients that you likely have on your hands. After a few minutes of preparation and baking, you are ready to serve your favorite Banana Bread.


  • 140g Butter
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 140g self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 50g icing sugar


  • Heat oven to 180 degree
  • Butter a 2lb loaf tin and line the base and side with baking paper
  • Beat 140g softened butter and 140g caster sugar until fluffy, then slowly add 2 eggs with a little of the 140g flour.
  • Fold the remaining flour, 1tsp baking powder, and 2 mashed bananas
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for about 50 mins, or until cooked.
  • Check the loaf at 5 min intervals by testing it with a skewer
  • Cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then take out the bread

If you like to add more flavors to your banana bread, top banana bread with cream cheese frosting.

  • To prepare the cream cheese frosting, beat 112 grams of softened cream cheese and ¼ cup of the softened unsalted butter together until you obtain a smooth consistency.
  • Now, add 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Beat to combine all these constituents well.
  • Spread this frosting on a cool loaf.
